SPJ New Mexico is pleased to welcome as a new member Albuquerque-based Peter St. Cyr, a veteran of both print and radio broadcast journalism.
Currently the chief political reporter for Citadel Broadcasting (KOB) and a frequent contributor to ABC and FOX radio, Peter is also a contributing correspondent on KNME TV’s New Mexico In Focus, a contributing writer at Albuquerque the Magazine, NMPolitics.net, and the New Mexico Independent.
Separate from his journalistic endeavors, Peter also manages a small public relations company and works with clients on reputation management, crisis communications and national publicity campaigns.
Peter’s been honored for his radio work by both the Associated Press and the New Mexico Broadcasters Association for outstanding news and interviews and he’s a welcome addition to the state chapter.
