Let’s all welcome new chapter member Alison Littman, or as she prefers, Ali.
She just graduated cum laude from U.C. Berkeley, where she studied History and English Literature. In her last semester at Berkeley she completed a thesis on Radio Free Europe in the 1960’s. Ali recently worked as an intern at a think tank in Oakland where she researched counterterrorism policies.
In 2009 Ali studied abroad in Budapest where she authored a blog titled “Oh My Goulash!” While in Hungary she interned at the Open Society Archvium where she analyzed and described video footage from the war in Yugoslavia. She’s currently working on a portfolio of short stories, food reviews and other creative projects. Ali also interns at The New Mexico Independent and hopes to find a full-time job in New Mexico soon.
