Students who get that their future education and career options can be directly affected by the learning and networking they do on the side are the really, really smart ones…like new student member Charlotte Smart.
Charlotte, a junior at Santa Fe Secondary School, speaks French and is working on her Italian and Advanced Latin. She became interested in joining SPJ after hearing board member Staci Matlock speak in one of her classes and professes a strong interest in both writing and literature. Charlotte is an experienced world traveler and is master PADI certified, no mean feat for someone living in landlocked New Mexico…
