Stephanie Hiller was born in New York during the Second World War and grew up determined to be a writer. She moved to the Bay Area after graduating from Vassar College, and spent most of her adult life in northern California writing for local newspapers and eventually fulfilling a dream of creating her own magazine; Awakened Woman e-zine, a journal of women’s spirituality and action, emerged on the Web in 1999.
In 2006, having begun work on a book about depleted uranium, and with both children flown from the nest, she moved to New Mexico to learn about Los Alamos. There, she found herself re-routed to focus on healing. She has since become a health coach helping seniors deal with the challenges of aging, and is now writing about integrative health approaches to chronic illness. She blogs at stayingalivecoaching.blogspot.
Welcome Stephanie!
