Although he teaches Communications and English at UNM-Gallup and oversees news direction at KGLP, the Gallup campus’ NPR affiliate, new member Rob Galin actually resides (at least part-time) with his wife in Mancos, Colorado. Previously a programs chair with the SPJ chapter in northern California, Rob has a master’s in writing from the University of San Francisco (among other degrees) and his experience as a working journalist crosses from print – Associated Press, The Denver Post, Adweek – to news direction and management with two names in public radio, Pacifica and NPR. In whatever spare time he has, Rob continues to write and edit on a freelance basis from both New Mexico and Colorado. Welcome aboard, Rob.
