The Center for Media, Crime and Justice and the McCormick Foundation are putting on a two-day conference on “Tribal Justice? Reporting on Crime in Native America,” June 25-26 in Albuquerque. Twenty fellowships will be awarded to attend. Journalists from outside New Mexico will win expense-paid travel. In-state fellows will receive $500 grants. The conference will take place at the University of New Mexico.

The Center for Media, Crime and Justice is affiliated with the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Co-sponsors of the conference are the University of New Mexico and the Native American Journalists Association. The deadline for applications is May 3.
