You’re cordially invited to join SPJ-Rio Grande for a one-day workshop to hone your reporting skills. Non-members are welcome as well! It all happens Sept. 28 from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Julia Dendinger (assistant editor at the Valencia County News-Bulletin) and Ryan Lowery (freelance contributor to the Las Vegas Optic) will host sessions on better note-taking and ethical decision-making on deadline.
For professionals, the event costs $10. The cost to students is just $5. You must buy tickets ahead of time, and registration ends at 5 p.m. Sept. 27.
This event will be held at the University of New Mexico, Communications & Journalism Building, Room 119, Albuquerque.
