Kudos to David Salazar, one of our chapter’s four teen members, for being named the New Mexico High School Journalist of the Year. Salazar, editor-in-chief for Santa Fe High School’s The Demon Rattler, also contributes regularly to Generation Next in The New Mexican. Salazar will attend Columbia University in the fall. Salazar also has a finely funny blog called “Can You Dig It? Nerdy Posts About Nerdy Things.”
