Remember how much fun we all had in 2013, when the Rio Grande Chapter hosted the Region 9 Conference in Santa Fe?
Well, we’re doing it again this year.
It’ll be in Albuquerque this time, and we’re co-sponsoring the conference with the UNM Student Chapter.
We have a great lineup of workshops, panels, and social events. There will be plenty of local faces on our panels, as well as some out-of-town guests, like USC Annenberg’s Robert Hernandez, Nancy Watzman of The Internet Archive, Dave Maass of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, former SPJ President Fred Brown, and Leah Todd of the Solutions Journalism Network.
Plus, there will be a great Happy Hour on Friday night at the Apothecary Lounge!
