Fellow journalists,
I think it’s safe to assume I wasn’t the only one riveted to Twitter last night, as many of New Mexico’s finest journalists covered the APD protest in Albuquerque last night.
I’m going to avoid calling people out by name — only because I’ll inevitably miss folks — but I felt super proud of New Mexico’s journalists last night. (And that includes the team at the Daily Lobo.) I knew exactly who to be watching for honest, brave, and breaking coverage of what was happening out on the streets.
