You are invited to join the Center for Responsive Politics (OpenSecrets.org) next week for the unveiling of a suite of tools aimed at helping reporters, watchdogs and academics in New Mexico track campaign finance in general, and dark money in particular through the 2018 election and into 2020.
During the two hour meeting, representatives from CRP will demo the New Mexico Dark Money Portal pilot project and discuss how this and other resources can be used to track and report on dark money in New Mexico.
As this is a pilot project, CRP also hopes to use the event — and possible breakout discussions afterward — to solicit your input and learn more about your reporting and interest in dark money so that we can improve the portal going forward.
