QUALIFICATIONS:
Our award winning 4 Investigates team is looking for a motivated Investigative Producer who is organized, understands how to find stories in data and documents, and is an excellent team player. The ideal candidate is someone who is able to break high-impact stories, navigate the IPRA/FOIA system, and possesses knowledge of New Mexico and its government structure. The Investigative Producer is responsible for working with investigative reporters and our legal department to produce long form, investigative reports. Experience in storytelling on digital platforms is preferred, along with experience with professional grade videography and video editing, working with spreadsheets, and turning raw data into a news story. Candidate must have prior television experience, strong research and organizational skills and not be afraid of confrontation. Must have valid Driver’s License and acceptable Driving Record. Both will be checked.
DUTIES:
The chosen candidate will wear many hats. Assignments might include, but are not limited to: enterprising stories and searching for unique investigative content, posing undercover for investigative reports, researching data, developing digital promotional campaigns, or shooting and editing video.
