The Hobbs News-Sun is looking for a general assignment reporter who will be assigned beats such as courts, government and education.

The News-Sun is an award-winning newspaper and is not afraid to cover what needs to be reported. Hobbs is a community of about 43,000 in the oil capital of sunny southeastern New Mexico. Hobbs is a dynamic community with an expanding population, new growth in housing and businesses. The News-Sun’s circulation is 10,500, six days a week.
