The chapter is happy to announce that Duane Barbati has joined SPJ Rio Grande as a Pro Member. Duane, a native of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, has worked as a journalist in New Mexico for five years and currently covers the police and courts beat for the Alamogordo Daily News.
