The American Society of Radiologic Technologists, based in Albuquerque, is seeking a full-time graphic artist. This position develops and creates print, Web and e-mail designs and illustrations promoting ASRT. The position involves time and project management and decision-making, while following production timetables and schedules to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
Candidates for this position must have:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree specializing in graphic design, fine arts or related field is preferred. Additional years of experience may substitute for a college degree.
- One to five years’ experience.
- Formal training in graphic design principles and methods.
- Knowledge of publication design and layout with strong graphic design skills.
- Intermediate-level skills using Adobe products on a Mac computer. Beginning to intermediate-level skills using Adobe Creative Suite for Design and Web.
- Project and time management skills – planning, prioritizing, implementation and follow-through.
- Ability to collaborate, think creatively and incorporate concepts into design or products.
- E-mail design experience is a plus
