Astrid Galvan is leaving the Albuquerque Journal to go back to school. The paper is looking for a replacement. Here is the skinny:
The Albuquerque Journal is looking for a seasoned reporter to cover higher education in New Mexico. Much of the beat focuses on the University of New Mexico, the state’s flagship university, but the reporter who takes this on also will be digging out news and trends at the state’s other universities and colleges.
We’re looking for someone versatile: a hard news reporter, feature writer and explanatory journalist who can produce for print and online.
