The KRQE Media Group in Albuquerque, NM has an immediate opening for a Producer to assist in the production of the FOX morning news program. In this position you will contact & schedule guests for live interviews, coordinate community & non-profit segments, edit video, post digital and social media content and assist anchors/hosts, reporters and producers in a general news broadcast production.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provides support to personnel producing newscasts for broadcast across all platforms.
• Assists with writing scripts and preparing news stories.
• Edits video.
• Writes stories for the website and other eMedia platforms.
• Interacts with viewers/users on social media sites.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
College degree along with 2 years’ news producing experience recommended.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
In this position you must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work in close proximity to others, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
