The Fund for Investigative Journalism is calling for applications for grants to support independent investigative reporting. Grants average $5,000 and cover out-of-pocket expenses such as travel, document production and equipment rental. Small stipends may be considered as a part of the grant.
The deadline for applications is Monday, October 21, at 5 p.m. Washington DC time (EDT).
FIJ is currently accepting proposals for domestic and overseas investigations on any topic area.
