KUNM public radio in Albuquerque is hiring for a half-time position as part of the public health project. The job entails being an online technical and editorial resource for the KUNM staff. Daily writing for an online audience and the ability to re-work radio scripts for online distribution is a main component of the position.
The Web Author will edit the work of others and train them to effectively reach people online. This person will help lead the station’s effort to cultivate a unique and consistent voice for KUNM in the digital domain.
Basic HTML, CMS, and solid knowledge of a broad range of social media and online storytelling tools is essential. The Web Author will create tools to help train others at KUNM to use those tools.
