Koahnic Broadcasting in Albuquerque is seeking a radio producer for it’s national daily show “Native America Calling.”
Duties include: researching program topics, booking guests, conducting pre-interviews, writing scripts for the host, posting questions to the audience through social media sites, and screening calls when necessary. Participate in planning and research for series and special projects. Act as back-up host as needed. Work under the supervision of the Executive Producer of National Programs.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university, with a communications degree preferred, and at least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent research skills, including online research. Knowledge of digital audio production. Proven, strong broadcast writing skills are a must.
