Rio Grande Chapter member (and treasurer) Peter St. Cyr was recently chosen as a John Jay/Tow Reporting Fellow for the Workshop project on juvenile justice. This year’s project is focused on the question “Where’s the Justice in America’s Juvenile Justice System?” and will be launched at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City later this month.
St. Cyr will join a select group of about 30 journalists (including former Santa Fe Reporter staff writer Dave Maass) who report on juvenile justice across the nation. He’ll also be part of an online information network that will operate through the rest of the year to provide resources, background, and contacts.
Congrats, Peter! We look forward to hearing about what you learn in NYC–and to hearing further reports about juvenile justice in New Mexico.
