Duke City DocFest 2011 is a showing of national and international documentaries Oct.12-16   A total of 26 films will be shown, all at the KiMo Theatre in downtown Albuquerque. Beatboxing,  death row, Afghanistan, a circus, a 90-year-old triathlete, the meteoric rise and fall of a graffiti artist – these documentaries cover a wide range. Michael I Schiller’s film “The After Party”, winner of the festival’s Freedom of Speech Award, is among the selection. Schiller’s film documents what happened when a cinemetographer was caught in a mass arrest at a demonstration.
